Doris Tennant and Ellen Lubell have contributed financial resources, time and expertise to organizations working to advance human rights, domestic and international relief efforts, environmental protection, healthcare, and nuclear non-proliferation. Pro Bono
In recognition of the firm's pro bono work in the field of human rights, Tennant Lubell has received the 2009 Massachusetts Bar Association's Access to Justice Pro Bono Award for Law Firms, the 2008 Honorable David A. Rose Civil Rights Award from the Anti-Defamation League of New England, the 2008 Human Rights Award from the Newton Human Rights Commission, the 2007 Boston Bar Association President's Award, the 2007 Frederick Douglass Award from the Southern Center for Human Rights, and the 2007 Beacon of Justice Award from the National Legal Aid & Defender Association.
